The article deals with the representation of values in the language conscious of respondents from Italia and Russia. The respondents were asked to estimate the significance of 18 values for 16 scfles of semantic differential. The cofomparative analysis was conducted in terms of semantic spaces. It has revealed some certain similarities in the estimates of respondents belonging to different samples and some significant differences between them.

Abstract
