This study aims at understanding the stability of polymer-coated papers by means of spectroscopic kinetics on thermally aged specimens. Samples have been prepared with different ingredients, to understand the influence of each component on the final product. Colorimetric analyses ran on aged and unaged samples allowed to elaborate a kinetic of degradation. By analysing the parameters given by the kinetic model, all the samples have been described and compared. FT-IR/ATR were done to support the results.

Abstract
