Dante cosmografo: sensibilità territoriale e coscienza geografica nella «Commedia»

This article focuses on some aspects of the terrestrial geography emerging in Dante’s «Comedy»: productive landscapes, topographies, complex morphologies between nature and anthropization. The analysis aims to contribute to highlight the innovative nature of the author’s approach to the geographical territory and the unprecedented modes of his literary representation.

Il saggio intende soffermarsi su alcuni aspetti relativi alla geografia terrestre che emerge nella «Commedia» dantesca: paesaggi produttivi, topografie, morfologie complesse tra natura e antropizzazione. Obiettivo dell’analisi è contribuire a porre in luce il carattere innovativo dell’approccio dell’autore al territorio e le modalità inedite della sua elaborazione letteraria.
