Since the early 1880s Bordignon has lived in Venice. After the efforts of the frescoes in the church of San Zenone and some Roman stays, he settled permanently in the Lagoon, first finding residence in the area around Campo San Vio and then in Ca 'Rezzonico. Between 1879 and 1882, shortly before or during the transfer of Noè Bordignon to the Lagoon, the painters James Abbott McNeill Whistler (1879-1880), Giovanni Boldini (1880-1882) and John Singer Sargent (1880-1882).
Dai primi anni Ottanta dell’800 Bordignon risiede a Venezia. Dopo le fatiche degli affreschi della chiesa di San Zenone e alcuni soggiorni romani si stabilisce definitivamente in Laguna trovando residenza dapprima nella zona attorno a Campo San Vio e poi a Ca’ Rezzonico. Tra il 1879 e il 1882, poco prima o durante il trasferimento di Noè Bordignon in Laguna, affittano un atelier a Ca’ Rezzonico per brevi soggiorni i pittori James Abbott McNeill Whistler (1879-1880), Giovanni Boldini (1880-1882) e John Singer Sargent (1880-1882).
