Women have traditionally been assimilated to nature and men to culture, and this has contributed to their devaluation. But, starting in the late 19th century, when women began to take possession of cultural tools, they were finally been able to use culture to talk about nature, constructing new and profound philosophical, poetic and literary paths. The book presents the thoughts of some important intellectuals of the 20th century who in their works have reflected on nature in the broadest sense of the term. Women who have left a profound imprint in the history of philosophy, literature and political thought, such as Gippius, Luxemburg, Colette, Webb, Weil, Morante, Hillesum, Ortese, Campo, Plath.

Abstract
