Abstract

The motif of the "Burla" in the context of the dramaturgy of the Siglo de Oro is widely investigated, within the production of the individual authors, or, in general, in an observation of an essentially historical-evolutionary nature. This contribution tries to focus on the function of derealization, or the loss of identity that derives from the motif, in particular in the context of European Baroque theatre.
