“MAIS ADIANTE, MAIS ADIANTE, MAIS ADIANTE FICA A ARGENTINA”: NOSTALGIA, GÊNERO E IDENTIDADE NOS PROCESSOS MIGRATÓRIOS DA ITÁLIA DO SÉCULO XXI

In a context - that of Italy in the 21st century - in which the other suffers a major process of xenophobia, marked by newspaper reports and changes in legislation that turn migrants into clandestines and illegals, we seek to analyze the dynamics of re-elaboration of the female migratory experience. It looks at how the present, strongly characterized by nostalgia, impacts on the mnemonic reconstruction of the individual and collective past. Looking beyond the sea, to another space-time in the past, is a way of dealing with the difficulties of the present, taking refuge in an imaginary and imagined past.

In un contesto - quello dell'Italia del XXI secolo - in cui l'altro subisce un forte processo di xenofobia, segnato dalle notizie giornalistiche e dai cambiamenti legislativi che trasformano i migranti in clandestini e irregolari, si vogliono analizzare le dinamiche di rielaborazione dell'esperienza migratoria femminile. Si analizza come il presente, fortemente caratterizzato dalla nostalgia, incida sulla ricostruzione mnemonica del passato individuale e collettivo. Guardare al di là del mare, verso un altro spazio-tempo del passato, è un modo per affrontare le difficoltà del presente, rifugiandosi in un passato immaginario e immaginabile.
